India ticked all of the required bins through the four-day apply match in opposition to Leicestershire and can look to hit the bottom working once they face England within the rescheduled one-off Test starting Friday, stated head coach Rahul Dravid.

“I think whatever we needed to achieve and whatever boxes we needed to tick in terms of our preparation leading into the Test match on Friday, I think we are very satisfied and happy, we have been able to do that this week,” Dravid stated in a video posted by Leicestershire Foxes on Twitter.
Asked concerning the challenges of taking part in in English situations, Dravid stated: “When you have got just one game or one-off game in a series, its not really a lot of time, you’ve got to hit the ground running hard and you’ve got to be able to hopefully get your act together right from the first day of the Test match.
“There just isn’t lot of room to maneuver or issues to go unsuitable. So having stated that it has been a great week. I believed the match wicket was difficult on first couple of days and cool down within the final two so, it was good, it was an incredible week.”
The former India batter also gave a thumbs up to the facilities and atmosphere here.
“I believed everybody’s actually taken care of us very well. It’s been nice crowds , it is actually beautiful to see so many individuals come to look at the sport like this and simply the environment and the vibe have been wonderful,” he said.
India were leading the series 2-1 last year before the final Test was abandoned owing to a COVID-19 outbreak in the visitors’ camp.
