    S. Padmanabhan-trained Philosophy (Sandesh up) received the Fillies Championship Stakes, the chief occasion of the races held right here on Sunday (June 19). The winner is owned by Mr. & Mrs. P.J. Vazifdar, Mr. M. Rishad and Mr. Kersi H. Vachha. Jockey Sandesh received three races for the day.

    Sandesh, who rode confidently, stored her filly second or third final until 600m, began manoeuvring his mount within the dwelling stretch. Philosophy responded tremendously to the reminders and galloped with big strides to overhaul the chief Crown Consort, passing the final 150m and received comfortably.
