    Three extra arrested in businessman homicide case in Bengaluru

    The Chamarajapet police, probing the Jugraj Jain homicide case, arrested three extra individuals and recovered valuables and money value ₹4.9 crore from them.

    The prime accused is Bijaram, 24, a resident of Nagaur district in Rajasthan and his associates, Puran Ram Devasi alias Pooran Ram, 26, a resident of Goa and a local of Raipur, Mahendra Devasi, 27, of Raipur, Om Prakash Devasi, 24, a resident of Chickpet and native of Raipur, Rajasthan.     Bijaram joined as a home assist to help the aged businessman and deliberate and killed him whereas he was alone. On the fateful evening, Bijaram threw chilli energy into his eyes, gagged his mouth, tied his fingers and legs earlier than strangulating him to dying, the police stated.

    The police added that he ransacked the home, stuffed the property in baggage, and escaped to Goa, the place he handed over the property to his associates and left for his hometown.

    A crew, led by ACP Giri Okay.C., went to Goa and carried out a search in Puran’s home and seized 8.5 kg of gold jewelry, a cell phone, and likewise arrested Puran.

    In Goa, they divided the stolen property in three baggage. One bag was taken by Bijaram, one other by Om Ram, and the third was left with Puran. Both needed to go to Rajasthan, so that they left a majority of the stolen items with Puran, to keep away from getting caught by the police.

    Puran runs a {hardware} store in Goa, Om Prakash works in a fabric store in Chickpet, Mahendra works in a jewelry store in Pali, and Om Ram owns a clothes retailer in Goa, the police stated.

    Bijaram’s spouse used to pester him to get extra money and open his personal store like their family, which led him to hatch homicide plan, the police added.
