In Hassan, police arrested the president of the native SDPI unit on the idea of data that the SDPI would organise protests opposing the current arrests of office-bearers of Popular Front of India (PFI)
Police raided the homes of activists of Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in Belagavi, and took seven individuals into custody on September 27.
They have been charged with disrupting visitors on the nationwide freeway by holding a flash protest in Belagavi lately with out permission.
The accused are Zakiulla Faiji, Abid Khan Kadoli, Salauddin Khilewale, Badruddin Patel, Samiulla Perrazade, Zaheer Gheewale and Rehan Azeez.
They have been charged with disrupting regulation and order. They have been requested to signal a safety bond beneath Section 110 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), police sources mentioned.
Deputy commissioners of Police Ravindra Gadadi and P.V. Sneha, ACPs Narayan Baramani M. Chandrappa and S.H. Kattimani led the groups that carried out the raids.
A staff is on the lookout for PFI district president Azeem Katagi.
