Amid two confirmed instances of the norovirus an infection reported amongst school-going youngsters at Vizhinjam within the State capital, the Union Health Ministry has requested the State Surveillance Office (SSO) to submit an in depth report concerning the matter, official sources stated on Monday.
According to the official, the primary documented norovirus outbreak within the State was reported in Alappuzha district in June final yr. “The SSO, Kerala, has been asked to submit a detailed report, which will be submitted shortly,” the official added.
