Meghalaya Chief Electoral Officer F.R. Kharkongor mentioned a complete of 379 candidates, together with 37 ladies, have filed their nominations for the February 27 election to the 60-member Assembly within the State.
Mr. Kharkongor had earlier mentioned that 334 nominees have submitted papers in all.
