An electrical scooter parked on the veranda of a home in Vaniyambadi caught hearth on Sunday.
The police stated S. Ihsanuallh, 32, who runs a tea store at Shakirabad, a thickly populated neighbourhood in Vaniyambadi city, had parked his scooter, close to the electrical energy meter field, on the veranda of his home for charging earlier than going sleep the earlier evening. Around 1 a.m, smoke began emanating from the bike and a fireplace broke out.
