Radical preacher Amritpal Singh’s shut aide Papalpreet Singh was on Tuesday despatched to a jail in Assam’s Dibrugarh, police stated.
Papalpreet Singh, who is taken into account to be Amritpal’s mentor, was nabbed in Amritsar district on Monday and detained beneath the National Security Act.
A five-member crew led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sanjiv Kumar on Tuesday left town together with Papalpreet Singh for Dibrugarh Jail in Assam.
They took a flight from the Shri Guru Ramdas International Airport right here. Senior Superintendent of Police Amritsar (Rural) Satinder Singh stated the crew left for Dibrugarh early within the morning.
Mr. Papalpreet, a detailed aide of Amritpal has allegedly been involved with Pakistan’s ISI.
